Well we are finally here in the U.S and loving it, went to Arlington House and walked around and found it very moving. Then the next day a 500 mile trip to Charleston, next day we went to Fort Sumter that was really terrific. Then we went to the Markets and did a bit of shopping well I did. Cant believe how hot it is here, my feet are aching and I am about ready to put my feet up. So everyone goodnight for now.
P.S.
I still have to find a shop that sells Tatting stuff, Joannes don't sell the Lizbeth so I am not a happy camper at the moment.
Goodnight...I have seen this picture before somewhere...it is awesome...hee hee
ReplyDeleteSadly I don't think many stores at all carry tatting stuff in the US. Most of us still have to mail order!
ReplyDeleteDo they have Hobby Lobby around there? They carry a little, but not much.
ReplyDeleteI'd say Hobby Lobby too. JoAnne's did but many (not all) discontinued it. Glad you're having a great time!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to hear from you. You are missed on your blog. Hope you find a Hobby Lobby. Can you mail order to where you are staying?
ReplyDeleteLovely to hear from you and I am glad you are enjoying your tripto america Margaret
ReplyDeleteI have heard that the only JoAnne's store in Virginia that still carries Lizbeth threads is located in Leesburg, VA.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely picture you have posted in your blog, very grand-looking scene.
ReplyDeleteI hope you succeed in getting some tatting stuff before you return.
Sounds like you are having a wonderful trip! Arlington is indeed a moving experience and Charleston is a beautiful city! Hope you continue to enjoy!
