Just a quick post to let you all know that we are home and that we have had a wonderful time in the U.S but I am so glad to be home. My ankles are really swollen and sore from the flight home, my cat wont leave me alone and I am ready for bed.
I will also be doing a giveaway in a couple of days as this is my 100th post so keep a lookout. Did this small motif but as usual I cant remember where I found the pattern, it was done in Lizbeth #20 124 Spring Garden.
It's very pretty! Love the colors. Glad to know you made it home safely.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your time here and that you are safely home. There's no place like home! Your motif is beautiful. I don't know how to tat but have to learn, it is so beautiful.

ReplyDeleteWelcome home. Your cat must have missed you so much. I just sent your shuttle so look out for it.
ReplyDeleteYes welcome home!
ReplyDeleteHalf the fun of a trip is getting to come home again! I'm glad you enjoyed the US. I hope to travel your way one day.
ReplyDeleteLovely mofit, I am glad you enjoyed your holiday, just got back myself, love margaret
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't a "trip" - it was an "expedition"!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine traveling that many miles by air, then driving hundreds of miles on a continent halfway around the world (lots of high-speed highways to navigate), and also doing a lot of walking and sightseeing!
I was impressed that you continued to post when you were here, and I enjoyed your experiences. Did you ever find any Lizbeth thread here?
Apparently some of the places you visited are experiencing storms and heavy flooding right now! You picked the right time to come, exept maybe for some hot weather.
Congratulations on your 100th post! And the motif is very sweet. Did you do that on the plane?
I recall when we returned from a wonderful trip to Hawaii many years ago, I couldn't get my shoes on when we landed! I had to limp off the plane, and I was only 38!
