Ashton Shawl!

Started knitting this Lace shawl in November on a K.A.L. and finished it last night. Blocked it overnight and I am so pleased with the way it turned out, I used Lincraft Splendour Yarn in Autumn tones and used just a tad over 3 x 50gr balls of yarn!

    Oooo..Gorgeous!!!! I have just started a lace scarf and am having a bit of trouble every so often as I get distracted. (two teens and a wonderful hubby but, still they distract me)I have had to rip out several rows every so often. Grrr... Your shawl gives me inspiration to continue though!!! :) Have a Merry Christmas!!!

    As much as I enjoy knitting, I always shied away from fine-thread lace, and shawls have the extra complication of changing stitch counts in each row!

    I am in total AWE of this shawl, from the colors used, to your skilled workmanship! It's definitely a show-stopper!
