Birthday Shawl!

As it will be my mum's 80th birthday next month I thought that I would knit her a shawl I used a variegated blue in  Mohair, Wool, Acrylic blend. And the best part is that I have left over yarn! Cant remember where I got the pattern and what it is called, anyway this is my very first knitted lace shawl, and I am pleased with the results.

    Your knitted lace shawl looks lovely. Congrats on your first shawl. I have never knitted a shawl or tried knitting lace. I love how the colour changes in the variegated mohair.
