Knitted some dish cloths a while ago the purple one in front was a K.A.L and fun to make. I love using them as you can throw them in the washing machine and are great to wash up with! I use Peaches and Cream 100% Cotton its great and works up well whether you knit or crochet! So what do you use? I am trying a new knitting technique its called Entrelac and is quite a challenge but I am getting there, it's going to be a dishcloth as that is a easy project to start off with. Will show you when I am done!
Those are cute! Do you use cotton yarn for them? I must have about 100 balls of cotton in all different colors because I love to crochet dishcloths and potholders. I still haven't figured out the whole knitting thing yet, but I will!
ReplyDeleteI love knitted dishcloths. They last forever!!!
ReplyDeleteI have never used one, either crochet or knitted. They hold up pretty good? Cotton the best? And I suppose the sts have to be very close together for durability? I'll have to look into these, as they seem to be very popular. I was wondering about the sturdiness....works for crochet too?
ReplyDeleteI like your colorful dishcloths!
ReplyDeleteI like your colourful dishcloths, I have never knitted one but it would be nice to have something colourful by my taps. Do they wear well? As I cant crochet apart from a chain to cast off my stitches on my dolies and tablecloths, thats as far as my crochet goes. So it will have to be knitted.
