My Sisters 50th Quilt Preview!!!!!

As my sister will be 50 in October I thought that I would show you her Birthday Pressy, just dont tell her LOL. This is the PieceMakers Calendar Tree Quilt, started in 2004 and finished this year. I really enenjoyed doing the Applique and also hand quilted around the blocks, finished by machine stippling the rest.

  9. I missed this beautiful quilt - what a lot of work! I haven't ever attempted much applique. And hand quilting is not something I would ever finish, I'm afraid. Your quilts are gorgeous!
