Isn't Tatman's shuttle motif just perfection? Breezy to tat, with elegant lines. And the shape is good for all sorts of applications. What's not to like?
Your shuttle turned out great! I like how you paired a variegated with a solid. I'm curious to see if it lookas as lovely the other way around.
I too like the color combination you used on the motif. I was just browsing through my patterns and saw this one and thought I'd like to tat it again. Thanks for sharing the picture of yours!
I'm catching up on your blog! Congratulations for starting one, and having so many cute things on your sidebar.
I'm trying to imagine living in Australia, where you have summer in our winter months, and vice-versa. Can't imagine having snow in July!
It's wonderful that you have eleven grandchildren! I imagine they're impressed that you have a blog!
Also, I love your Balinese kitty! Did you name your blog after him (or her) I enjoy cats, although I don't have one. My brother had a fluffy Himalayan cat years ago, and several family members and friends have cats.
I'm enjoying your tatting adventures. Are you thinking about joining the 25 Motif Challenge?

That is a nice pattern. I like the colors you chose - reminds me of my orange clover loaded up with lizbeth jelly bean.
